How do I use Go Roam?
Go Roam works automatically when you arrive in any of the 70+ destinations as long as data roaming is switched on. Then it’s as simple as using your phone as you normally would. Just don’t forgotten to replace the 0 at the start of the number you’re calling or texting with +44.
What are the plans?
Three have two plans on offer. Their European plan is available to everyone, while their global set up comes with every contract except the ‘Essentials’ payment plan. But just how does that differ?
Well, with Go Roam Europe you can use your allowance to call and text to the UK. You can also use your data (within fair use limitation) and call and text other destinations in the same plan with a £2 daily charge applies to unlock your allowance in Go Roam in Europe destinations.
Go Roam Around the World lets you do the same just in more countries. So that’s calls, text and data usage with a £5 daily charge in Go Roam Around the World destinations excluding in Ireland and the Isle of Man. Data can be used up to the fair use limit of 12GB.
